The Club
Founded in 1989, the UBC Finance Club is one of Sauder School of Business’s largest and oldest student organization. Over the years, the UBC Finance Club has built a strong relationship with industry professionals and world-class faculty members, connecting students with the best in finance world.
The UBC Finance Club has long been known for its lineup of premier annual events including the National Investment Banking Competition and Conference, Canada’s first and only, and the intimate Wine and Cheese. The wide array of events hosted throughout the year will provide members with not only the opportunity to learn more about the industry but also a chance to showcase their skills and abilities.
Several clubs have been merged into UBC Finance Club, the most recent being the UBC Venture Capital and Equity Club in 2010. This merger brought premier Pacific Venture Capial Competition under the club’s operations, further strengthening our offering to members and providing expertise and better resources to highly potential programs.
